This book examines the dynamics of Anglo-Ethiopian relations covering the period from 1869 to 1906. It makes a comprehensive study of the factors that shaped the British policy in Ethiopia such as the British interests in the Red Sea and Egypt, and Ethiopian victory on Egypt and Italy in 1889 and 1896 respectively.
