This book presents spatio-temporal appraisal of Health Status Index (HSI) of 237 Panchayat Samities of Rajasthan, during the period 1991 and 2001. Giving geographical profile of the state, along with its health status, it interprets spatial distribution pattern of HSI during the period.
It further studies changed relative status of Panchayat Samities in HSI, and presents growth trends as well as plan of action. The emerging challenges facing Rajasthan have also been discussed in detail. The book is enriched with key data from NFHS and SRS.
