Sir Edward West was a British King’s Judge who served in India, upholding British honor and fair play against greed and injustice. He was known for his moral integrity and believed that what was morally wrong could not be politically right. However, little has been made public about his life in India, and the Dictionary of Biography only knows him as a political economist.
