This is one of the most northerly of the Kurdish dialects, spoken by a large tribe of Kurds inhabiting the mountains around Erzerum and to the east towards Bayazid, may be reckoned as one of the most important of the TurkoKurd tongues on account of the regularity of conjugations of its verbs and richness of grammatical form as compared with other Kurdish tongues. The book is the product of extensive study of this language. The subject of the book is very good and interesting. There is no statement in the book to which exception may justly be taken. The book contains three chapters. It discusses The Shadi branch of Kurmanji (in J.R.A.S1909); Sulamania (Southern Turkish Kurdistan) (in J.R.A.S1912); A Southern Kurdish folksong in Kermanshahi. The book is immensely good for the readers.
