ENTREPRENEURSHIP, STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT AND GLOBALIZATION

A nation, howsoever rich it may be in material resources, cannot prosper if its resources are not put to productive use. For this we need energetic entrepreneurs who can contribute effectively towards nation’s prosperity. Across the world, their is a growing realization of the potential contribution of the entrepreneurs towards socio-economic development of the country. The globalization movement has transformed world economies into a global village due to effective communication and diluting trade barriers. Enterprises with strategic management and an eye on the global changes can succeed in the present competitive world. India will have to undertake entrepreneurship training with fervent efforts to improve the management practices in the prevailing globalization movement.
The present treatise is of great relevance to both potential and existing entrepreneurs because it deals with the issues pertaining to start up and launching of an enterprise3 as well as issues related with management and growth of such units.
