Globalization: Myth and Reality

Globalization is an unavoidable reality in the modern world. Most of the countries have accepted it either willingly or unwillingly. Divergent views for and against globalization have been expressed. One view is that globalization has created opportunities for development in several countries, while the other view does not accept this contention of the supporters of globalization. There are many questions which are raised at different platforms. Some of these are: What is globalization? What are the fundamental factors involved in globalization? Who wants globalization? How does globalization affect different people? Whether globalization is beneficial for developing nations?
The answer to some of the these questions, to some extent, can be found in the articles in this volume written by eminent scholars.
